About Press Coffee Roasters
Welcome to Press Coffee Roasters! What started as a college dream became a reality for one of the owners, who works in TV broadcasting- hence our name, Press. From the beginning, we didn't want to be just any coffee house- we wanted to be the best. We believe what sets us apart from the others are our friendly and knowledgable baristas, quality product, and our passion to educate the coffee lover in you. In November 2008, we opened Press Coffee Food Wine at CityNorth in Phoenix. A year later, we launched our roasting operation where we roast our beans fresh daily. In 2010, we opened Press Coffee Roasters at Scottsdale Quarter. And finally, in 2012, Press Coffee Food Wine made its mark at Sky Harbor Airport in Terminal 4 at Gate B9!
We are extremely passionate about our coffee- we've been voted Best Cup of Coffee by Arizona Foothills Magazine two years in a row and were featured in both Barista Magazine and Sunset Magazine.
We are not only passionate about roasting and offering incredible coffees, but delicious food, so at Phoenix Sky Harbor we also offer fabulous wines and craft beers. We roast our coffee in small batches, with beans that are very carefully sourced and selected. Many that we offer are organic and all are Fair Trade, from countries like Ethiopia, Peru, Costa Rica, Brazil, Sumatra, and Guatemala. Coffee, like wine, is a language best understood through sampling — to really understand how, and where a berry is grown, the temperatures, seasons, and processing it underwent, and the resulting harmony of flavors.
Our mission at Press Coffee is simple: provide the best quality and service while educating and sharing our passion for coffee with that the community we have grown in, is just as important as the communities from which our coffee originates.
